CISNĂDIE
District/county (județ): Sibiu
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on January 7, 2014.
The silver shield represents the old traditions and privileges of the locality, "witnesses" being the two lions; the crown suggests that the locality was documented in a royal privilige, however it had the right to hold a fair received in the year 1500.
The wall crown with three crenellated towers means that the locality has the rank of town.
