Sinisessä kentässä hopeinen, kolmimastoinen, etu- ja raakapurjeilla varustettu alus, joka ui aaltokoroisella kultatyviöllä.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 2, 1951.

The arms show a sailing ship, symbol for the importance of shipping and fishing for the municipality.
