Origin/meaning
The lion represents the armiger's name, Judah, while his golden tongue represents their chosen career, which requires smooth talking. The torch, representing Lady Liberty's torch, stands for the armiger's love of Truth, Justice, and the American Way, their beloved City of New York, and their blazing a new path for themselves and their descendants. At dexter, the gore represents a sense of brokenness and the way that completes who they are, while also representing a turning page, washing away what has passed and starting fresh and anew. The turning page also alludes to the armiger's love of learning and his lifelong pursuit of knowledge.
