I don't have information on this municipality. I just know that the municipality used to have arms. I don't have a picture or description.
The village has no church, but a chapel devoted to St. Mary. That is symbolised by the fleur-de-lys (the symbol of Mary) and the Marian blue colour.


The base is canting (bach=stream). The blue and silver also refer to the arms of the Counts of [[Schleiden]], who historically ruled the area.
