District (Kreis) : Rhein-Hunsrück Kreis
Verbandsgemeinde : Verbandsgemeinde Emmelshausen
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The upper half shows a book with three stones, the symbol for St. Nicholas, the local patron saint. The two miner's tools symbolise the mining in the local Camilla Quarry. The three horns in the lower half symbolise that the village historically belonged to the Braunshorn Estate, owned by the Counts of Metternich-Winneburg.
