Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on 30, 1976.

The upper part of the arms show a dragon, which is used as a symbol for the local nature. The lower part is taken from the arms of the Lords of Alm. These were vassals of the Bishops of Salzburg in the village from 1408-1561.
