Origin/meaning
The tree is the dwelling place of God and the shelter of man, which grows on the banks of the stream, "will produce fruits that will serve as food and its medicine leaves" (Ez 47, 12). The birds nesting in the tree symbolize those who find new life in this tree: "Even the sparrow has found a house. The swallow a nest where to place its chicks "(Sal, 83.4)
The water alludes to the Spirit "River of water of life that flows from the throne of God and of the Lamb" (Rev. 22,1), The star is the presence of Mary "star of the dawn of the paternal day": "under her protection" is her episcopal ministry.
The motto Para que tengan vida means "That they may have life" (Jn 10,10)
