FAHRWANGEN

Canton: Aargau

Wappen von Fahrwangen/Arms (crest) of Fahrwangen

Official blazon

Geteilt von Gelb mit schreitendem rotem Löwen und von Rot.

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on June 25, 1953.

The arms show in the upper half a lion, derived from the arms of the Counts of Kyrburg, who ruled the area for a long time (see also Thurgau).
