ERNEST HAUSWIRTH
Born: September 25, 1818
Deceased: March 4, 1901
Abbot of Schottenkloster in Wien, 1881-1901
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
As nearly all abbots, he combined the arms of the Abbey with personal arms. He no longer used the arms of Telky Abbey as well (see his predecessors), as that abbey became independent again in 1881. The personal arms were granted in 1881 and show agricultural elements, which refer to his name.
