Über erhöhtem blauen Wellenschildfuß, darin nebeneinander drei schräglinks gestellte, wachsende silberne Schachblumen mit rot-silbern geschachter Blüte, in Silber zwei grüne Kopfweiden nebeneinander. Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted on January 11, 1982. The upper part shows two willow trees, which are a very common type of tree in the area. Furthermore, for many centuries the manufacturing of barrels from willow bark and other materials from willow branches was very common in the village. The base shows the Elbe river and three Snake's Head Fritillary (Fritillaria meleagris) flowers, which are rare in Germany, but common on the floodplains around the Elbe.
