History:Constituted as 2 Motor Vehicle Squadron, Bombardment, Medium, on 28 May 1948. Activated on 12 Jul 1948. Redesignated as 2 Motor Vehicle Squadron on 16 Mar 1950. Inactivated on 16 Jun 1952. Redesignated as 2 Transportation Squadron on 15 Jun 1959. Activated on 1 Aug 1959. Redesignated as 2 Logistics Readiness Squadron on 15 Jul 2002.
