UEZWIL

Canton : Aargau

Wappen von Uezwil

Official blazon

Gespalten von Gelb mit drei aus der Teilungslinie wachsenden roten Pfeilspitzen, und von Blau.

Origin/meaning

The arrows are the symbol of St. Sebastian, the patron saint of the village. The arms were adopted on April 3, 1946.

The old 19th century seals of the village showed the arms of the Swiss Republic from the early 19th century, a shield with fasces.
