The elm (or field elm) is a tree that grows abundantly in the municipal territory which includes many small streams. Its wood, with intertwined grain making it stronger than other trees, was used to make cow yokes.

The goose reminds us that goose force-feeding was important in the municipality. Garlic is cultivated abundantly in the municipality.
