Origin/meaning

The cabbage in the arms already appeared as a village sign in the 16^th century. The cabbage symbolises the importance of cultivating vegetables in the area for many centuries. The arms were most likely officially granted in the early 17^th century by the Dukes of Württemberg. The arms combine the cabbage with a chief with the deer antler of Württemberg.
