Origin/meaning

The two hands symbolizes the merger of the two municipalities in 1833.

The rose refers to the church of the Assumption-of-the-Blessed-Virgin-Mary in Lussagnet and the cross to the church of Saint-Jacques in Lusson.

The waves refer to the Leez river, the green field to agriculture, the two cows are taken from the arms of the [Béarn]] and the two letters "L" are the initials of the two villages.
