Born: December 13, 1964 Auxiliary Bishop of Québec, 2019-2022; Titular Bishop of Sertei |

Origin/meaning
The Tau cross in the first quarter refers to the Franciscan roots of his spirituality and his missionary vocation. The sandals are also a symbol of the missionary vocation and life of all the baptized and also of his attachment and belonging to the Society of Foreign Missions of the Province of Quebec.
The boat and river represent his years of mission on the rivers and lakes of the Brazilian Amazon. The boat is also a symbol of the Church and the water symbol of baptism. Being associated, they remind us that the Church exists to be missionary.
The mountains and lake recall his childhood and my youth in the Laurentians north of Quebec and the many lakes in the region. The mountains also refer to Haiti whose name means “mountain country” and where he had his first missionary experience.
