17TH AIRBORNE DIVISION GOLDEN TALONS DIVISION, US ARMY

History: Activated 16 December 1942. Organized 15 April 1943 at Camp Mackall (North Carolina). Inactivated 14 Semptember 1946 at Camp Myles Standish (Massachusetts).
