Origin/meaning
The arms were registered on November 30, 2007.
The arms were granted at the same time of the town rights in the early 16th century by Emperor Ferdinand I for Wenzel von Wartenberg, the local lord. The arms show St. Wenceslaus (Wenzel, Vaclav) as a knight and Duke of Bohemia. The saint was the patron saint of Lord Wenzel von Wartenberg.
