History: Constituted as 349 Air Police Squadron on 8 Sep 1950. Activated in the Reserve on 11 Oct 1950. Ordered to active service on 1 Apr 1951. Inactivated on 2 Apr 1951. Activated in the Reserve on 13 Jun 1952. Ordered to active service on 28 Oct 1962. Relieved from active duty on 28 Nov 1962. Discontinued, and inactivated, on 11 Feb 1963. Consolidated (12 Oct 1984) with the 349 Weapons Systems Security Flight, which was constituted on 18 Jun 1976. Activated in the Reserve on 1 Jul 1976. Redesignated as: 349 Security Police Flight on 15 Aug 1988; 349 Security Police Squadron on 1 Oct 1992; 349 Security Forces Squadron on 1 Jul 1997.
