Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on November 12, 2024.

The shield division forms th eletter V, the village initial. The image of St. George is based on an equestrian statue of Saint George dating from the 14th century preserved in the church of Villebougis, probably coming from the destroyed priory which was located in the hamlet bearing his name in the municipality.

The oak leaf represents the forest, the ear of wheat signifies agricultural activity.
