Arms (crest) of Slatinice

Official blazon

Štít rozdělen červeným kosmým pruhem, nahoře stříbrný s červeným štírem, dole šest vlnitých pruhů střídavě zlatých a modrých.

Origin/meaning

The arms were registered on July 15, 1993.

The bend and the scorpion are taken from the arms of Dr. Thomas Jordan of Klausenburg who in 1580 was the first physician to describe the healing effects of the local mineral waters; which are symbolised by the blue waves in the base of the shield while the golden waves represent the heaving wheat fields in the fertile plains of Hana.
