Official blazon

On a blue panel 3 inches (7.62cm) in length and 2 inches (5.08cm) in height, with rounded corners, within a white border 1/8" inch (.32cm) wide and with 1/8 inch (.32cm) blue margin, the Roman numeral II between on the dexter side a rising eagle and on the sinister side a rampant lion facing each other, all in white.

Origin/meaning

The shoulder sleeve insignia was originally approved for the II Corps on 13 Jan 1919 and officially announced on 27 May 1922. It was redesignated for the II U.S. Army Corps on 16 Dec 1957. A distinctive unit insignia was not approved for the II U. S. Army Corps.
