Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 3, 1929.

The arms show the local patron saint St. Andrew behind a monastery. The base shows a hill with a wavy bend. The meaning is not known, but the arms already appear in a roll of arms from 1620.

The arms in the Coffee Hag album +/- 1932
