Origin/meaning
The arms show a cross, symbolising that the Hasungen Abbey received the local taxes since the 13th century. Also, the church in the village is one of the oldest in the area. The upper half symbolises the water mills in the Nieste river (wavy bar), that were of great importance for the local development and economy for many centuries.
