Origin/meaning

The worldwide scope and range of activities of the unit's mission are represented by the compass rose. The bezant symbolizes fiscal responsibility. The bordure denotes the comprehensive breadth of duties included in the finance mission. Silver and yellow refer to the branch colors; red stands for courage and sacrifice, blue for integrity.

The Coat of Arms was approved on 30 March 1994.
