English Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Description: On a white disc edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border, 3 1/4 inches (8.26 cm) in diameter overall, a blue panther passant detailed white between the inscription “AMERICUS” arcing at top and “HIGH SCHOOL” arcing at bottom in blue letters.

Shoulder Loop Insignia. Description: A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall, consisting of a shield blazoned: Per bend sinister Argent and Azure a panther passant bendwise counterchanged. Attached below the shield a Silver scroll turned Blue and inscribed “TOGETHER WE BUILD” in Blue letters.

Origin/meaning

Shoulder Sleeve Insignia: Blue and white are the school colors. The blue panther is the school mascot and reflects the fierce determination of the cadets.

Shoulder Loop Insignia: Blue and white (silver) are the school colors. The blue panther is the school mascot and reflects the fierce determination of the cadets.

The Shoulder Sleeve Insignia and the Shoulder Loop Insignia was both approved on 5 December 1995.
