Escudo de filigrana de ouro aberto de vermelho, uma cruz azul da fundação, carregada no seu cruzamento por um castelo de ouro aberto e iluminado de azul. Coroa mural de prata de quatro torres. Listel branco com a legenda em maiúsculas de negro : " VILA DA PÓVOA DE LANHOSO ".

The arms were officially granted on July 25, 1940.
