Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 15, 1987.

Friedrich von Waldsdorf was a squire in the 14th century. He bore a coat of arms consisting of two pales. To these arms, twelve pilgrim scallops were added to indicate that St. James, the first of the apostles to suffer martyrdom for his faith, is the patron saint of Thal.
