LINDERTE

State: Niedersachsen
District (Kreis): Region Hannover (until 2001 Hannover)
Incorporated into: 1969 Ronnenberg

Wappen von Linderte/Arms (crest) of Linderte
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

IThe arms were officially granted on May 12, 1959.

The linden tree is a canting element for the name of the village. The two small shields show the star of the Counts of Schwalenberg, to which the village belonged in medieval times, and a fox. The fox is a symbol for the local sheriff, Reinecke, who granted many rights to the village.
