Shown is the arms of Vice-Admiral Peter Tordenskiold (before his ennoblement known as Peter Wessel), granted on February 24, 1716. Viceadmiral Tordenskiold was one of the greatest Danish sea heroes of the Great Northern War in the beginning of the 18^th century.
