Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on July 29, 2015.

The snake is taken from the arms of the De Colbert family, former lords of the village. The fleur-de-lys is taken from the arms of Yvelines, the crosier symbolises the priory of St Martin-des-Champs that influenced the history of Orsonville and the wheat indicates agriculture.
