Origin/meaning

The blue and yellow colours inidcate Infantry and Armor, the two branches that form the Battalion. The border represents the distinction of Future Combat Systems. The Triangle denotes successs with the changes in the armored force. The Lightning symbolise the speed with which the Battalion accomplish each mission. The Star denotes Texas, where the Battalion was originally formed. The arms were approved on 15 May 2008.
