Distinctive Unit Insignia: Description : A Gold volored base metal and enamel insignia 1 1/4 Inches (3.18 cm) overall consisting of a gold pilot's wheel fo eight spokes with a brick red rim in saltire two parallel gold diagonal lines surmounted by a black wavy diagonal band; all above a gold scroll interlaced with the five lower handles of the wheel, and inscribed "SERVICE IS OUR PRODUCT" In black letters.

The upper Buff part of the shield symbolises the Quartermaster Corps and the lower Blue part and the box hook symbolises the duties of the Battalion. the Lion's head symbolises the campaing particiaption credits for World War II. The Palm wreath symbolises Vietnam War Service, the three Spears symbolises the unit'r Meritorious Unit Commendation awards for Vietnam. The two Army Superior Unit decorations awarded for successive operations in 1994 are represented by the colours of the shield on the lion. The Coat of Arms was originally approved for the 396th Quartermaster Battalion on 25 April 1938 it was rescinded on 19 December 1961. It was reinstated, amended to add a crest and redesignated for the 11th Tranportation Battalion on 1 December 2003. The Distinctive unit insignia was approved for the 396th Quartermaster Battelion on 25 April 1938. It was amended to correct the description on 7 March 1939. The Insignia was redesignated for the 11th Transportation Battalion on 19 December 1961.
The pilot's wheel symbolises the Battalion's mission of providing command staff direction to attached units. The rope alludes to terminal service facilities for loading and unloading and for the transshipment of cargo and personnel. The Wavy band is from the arms of the Rhineland and symbolises the Campaigns of World War II. The Crest The points of the polestar commemorate the unit's four decorations, Red för the Meritorious Unit Commendation. Blue, White and gold are the colours of the Joint Meritorious Award. The Blue annulet alludes to a Globe and thus the Worldwide mission of the Battalion. The Sword and Scimitar symbolises World War II and Southwest Asia service. Vietnam War service is symbolised by the Palm Branches. The Distinctive Unit Insignia was approved on 22 April 1966 and the Coat of Arms on 25 September 1998, it was amended to include a Crest on 13 Jauary 1999.
