Origin/meaning
Approved on 23 September 1987.
The Saltire symbolises Georgia where the the Battalion was located. The Roman Helmet symbolises participation in the Rome-Arno Campaign during World War II. The crest shows a Star indicating the award of the Meritorious Unit Commendation and Swords symbolising War Service.
