Shield: Per fess enhanched Argent and Azure in chief a lightning flash bend sinisterwise of the last in base a Korean temple of the first.
Crest: None. Motto: Vigilantia et Perseverantia (Vigilance and Perseverance).

Distinctive Unit Insignia, description: A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Per fess enhanched Argent and Azure in chief a lightning flash bend sinisterwise of the last in base a Korean temple of the first. Attached below the shield a Silver scrollinscribed "VIGILANTIA ET PERSEVERANTIA" in Black letters.

Origin/meaning

Teal blue and white are the colours for the Army Security Agency. The Korean Temple symbolises campaign honours and decorations awarded the Unit for its service in Korea.The LightningFlash symbolises the Battalion's readiness and speed in performing its mission.

The Coat of Arms and Distinctive Unit Insignia was approved on 12 February 1958. They where rescinded/cancelled on 30 august 1976.
