Raised : 1893 as Norrlands trängbataljon, 1902 renamed Norrlands trängkår, it become a Regiment in 1949.
In 2000 the Regiment become a Battalion within the Jämtland Ranger Regiment

Garrison : Stockholm (1893-1898), Sollefteå (1898-2000), Östersund (2000-2004)
Official blazon
I blått fält Västerbottens vapenbild, en springande ren av silver med röd beväring. Skölden lagd över ett kärrhjul med fyra ekrar och därunder två korslagda svärd, allt av silver.
