514TH LOGISTICS READINESS SQUADRON, US AIR FORCE

History: Constituted as 514 Motor Vehicle Squadron on 8 September 1950. Activated in the Reserve on 16 October 1950. Ordered to active service on 1 May 1951. Relieved from active duty on 26 November 1952. Inactivated on 1 February 1953. Activated in the Reserve on 1 April 1953. Redesignated as 514 Transportation Squadron on 8 October 1956. Discontinued, and inactivated, on 17 January 1963. Redesignated as 514 Logistics Readiness Flight on 4 September 2002. Activated in the Reserve on 1 October 2002. Redesignated as 514 Logistics Readiness Squadron on 11 February 2011.
