Origin/meaning

Yellow and Green are the Colours of the Military Police. The Fox's head symbolises wit and wisdom. The chain symbolises the obligation placed on the personnel in the just performance of their duties.
The arms were approved 29 January 1943 and rescinded 3 April 1958.
