Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 2, 1996.

The falcon on a hill is canting (Falken-Berg). The chestnut is a common tree in the area nd represented by the leaf. The wavy bar symbolises the Gamengrund river.

To the Amt Müncheberg belonged:
