Arms of Borzysławice

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms of the village (German name Borislawitz) show a pine tree and a saw. The village was developed near an older small village in the late 18th century by Lord Heinrich von Sass, and the arms probably simply indicate the clearing of forests for the new village. The image appeared on the only known late 19th century seal of the village.
