GNIEBING-WEISSENBACH

State : Steiermark
District : Südoststeiermark (until 2015 Feldbach)
Incorporated into : 2015 Feldbach

Wappen von Gniebing-Weißenbach/Arms of Gniebing-Weißenbach

Official blazon

In goldenem Schild schwarz über zwei erhöhten Leisten im Schildfuß eine von zwei Punktreihen überhöhte Spitze von zehn Spickeln.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on May 27, 1991.

The sole charge of this coat of arms is a design from the La Tene-aera, interpreted as a human pyramid and thus a symbol of fertility in the vale of the river Raab.
