English Red; a wreath of palm gold issuant from a crescent moon in base white a dexter arm embowed and vambraced silver the hand grasping a broken tilting spear bendwise.

Motto: Gardez bien

Origin/meaning

The Titling Spear and Crescent Moon is from the Crest of the Arms of Field Marshal Lord Montgomery victor at El Alamein, a Second World War Battle of 1942. The Motto is also Lord Montgomery's and is in French meaning "Guard well". The Badge was approved on 6 May 1946.
