LEŚNICA

Province: Opole
County: Strzelce

Arms of Leśnica
Official blazon
Polish blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms of the city (German name Leschnitz) show the eagle of Upper Silezia, to which the city historically belonged. Although Lesnica is a city since 1460, there are no older seals known than a seal from the 18th century, which already showed the eagle.
