State : Nordrhein-Westfalen

Amt : Amt Störmede (until 1975)
Incorporated into : 1975 Geseke
Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on September 17, 1937.
The divided golden and red shield is the arms of the Corvey Abbey, to which the former Amt Mönninghausen belonged. The red wheel is taken from the arms of the Von Hoerde family, who acted as governors for the Abbey in the village.
