Blason de Millam
Official blazon
French

De gueules au chef d'argent chargé de trois merlettes de sable.

English No blazon/translation known. Please click here to send your (heraldic !) blazon or translation

Origin/meaning

The arms are based on the arms of the Van Ursel family, lords until 1789. As the family still exists the village uses black merles instead of the red merles as used by the family.

See also Ursel and other possessions of the family: Hallaar, Hingene, Hoboken and Kerkhove.
