Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 16, 1943.

The arms show three stones used for sharpening knives. The 18^th century seal of the village already showed such a stone, whereas a stone has been used as a symbol for the village already in the 16^th century. The stone symbolises the main stone quarries in the village of Kallmora. The stones were often decorated in the way as shown on the arms as a kind of trademark for the region.
