RECONNAISSANCE HEAVY ATTACK SQUADRON (RVAH)-5 SAVAGE SONS, US NAVY

History: Established as VC-5 on 9 September 1948, becoming Heavy Attack Squadron (VAH)-5 on 1 November 1955 and RVAH-5 in May 1956. The Squadron was disestablished on 30 September 1977.
