RHÄZÜNS DISTRICT

Canton : Graubünden

Wappen von Rhäzüns (district)/Arms (crest) of Rhäzüns (district)

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms show St. George with the dragon, the patron saint of the church in Rhäzüns. The saint already appears on the 15th century banner of the district. In the 19th century seals also St. John Baptist appears on the seals, but not on the arms.
