Arms of Rugby Football Union

Official blazon

Arms : Per chevron engrailed azure and argent, in chief two griffins' heads erased Or and in base a triple rose gules, barbed and seeded, stalked, and with five leaves proper; a borduie Or.
Crest: On a wreath of the colours, A demi lion guardant Or charged on each leg with two roses gules, barbed and seeded, and resting the sinister paw on a Rugby football fess­ wise proper.
Motto: Rugbeia floreat ubique.


The arms were officially granted on June 10, 1970.
