Av guld och blått medelst en vågskura delad sköld, i vars övre fält en uppstigande blå örn med röd näbb och tunga.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 30, 1949.
The arms show the eagle of Värmland and refer in the base to the Säffle Canal.
Another proposal was made for the city in 1944, but not adopted:
